Sorry
Sorry I haven't written in a while. They have been keeping me so busy over there and I have just gotten into the groove of things and how to handle myself better and not make so much work for myself. The thing is that my supervisor Marcy, is not a very organized woman and at first I was afraid to speak up and give input on how things were done in the office. However when I started to have to do things two or three times I got fed up that they weren't utilizing me in way that would be beneficial to them. So I talked to my dad and he said to bring up ideas but make them seem like they were hers in a way. Well thats what I did and it worked out wonderfully. Now I have all my work saved on my laptop so when she comes to me and says "Oh we messed up can you redo this or retype that" it takes me half the time. This next week will be a little hectic with the big move that I will talk about tomorrow and Marcy going on Vacation for a week and half.. So needless to say I have my hands full. I will be posting the phase one tomorrow and an update tomorrow as well as soon as I get my thoughts clear. Jinnie I don't know how you do it. My mind is just in a funk right now between working a full time job. going to school and this oh my...and you have kids...you are amazing!

Hey Tori! Sounds like your hands are as full as mine! I have been sick for awhile and it took a toll on me. haha
I'm glad you got settled in your internship though!
by the way, i wasn't able to make it to class the 12th, do we have class the 26th?
Tori, hate to disappoint you but my kids are old and I have grandkids! No kids live with me as of now. You are doing just as much if not more than me. I just have 3 classes and a job. Still have a house to clean (not that it has been done) They are lucky to have you....keep it up!
remember, they are in transition, so there may be some confusion.
Try to work on one thing at a time if possible--or takes notes on everything, but don't try to write up anything yet.
Tori, Yes you are right the internship is to see "what we want to be when we grow up" I was questioning the teacher aspect, just fear I am thinking now. I thought about working for the system and DYFS but now that I have experienced some things I would have been able to if not for the Internship I am convinced teaching IS for me. This semester has been very "INTERACTIVE" but I am loving every minute of it!
